Bio:

Stuti is a Bharatanatyam exponent (an Indian classical dance form) based in Ottawa.

Stuti has received rigorous training in this art form and did her Bharatanatyam Arangetram(Dance Graduation) in 2019 under the guidance of Shri. Guhendran Sarvanapava. She continued her Bharatanatyam training with the eminent Guru. Kalakshetra Amarnath Ghosh.
In Jan 2019, she was the first South Asian dancer in Ottawa to receive  'Ottawa Faces magazine's ' best dancer award. She performed at the Ottawa Arts Gallery for an emerging artist showcase organized by eminent South Asian dancer Shri. Lata Prada's Sampradaya's dance creations, commissioned by the Canada Arts Council. She also performed at TEDx uOttawa and Parliament Hill events organized by senators and diplomats. Stuti has been performing for most of the major Indian festivals like - Festival of India and the TD South Asian festival in Ottawa. Stuti is also actively involved in fundraising and community services through her artwork. She had been a part of a number of dance productions in Ottawa. Recently, Stuti had the privilege to be one of the dance jurors for the Ontario Arts council's dance project grant 2020. Stuti, along with her husband is the owner and founder of 'FUZD (Fyoozd) entertainment', art, entertainment, media, and production company based in Ottawa.

Apart from a Bharatanatyam dancer, Stuti is an ardent Yoga lover and a certified Yoga Teacher. Her love for yoga & fitness is the reason why she ended up with a 200hrs Yoga teacher training certification.

In the past 10 years, Yoga has helped her overcome disorders like obesity, PCOD & depression. She wanted to pursue YTT 200hrs in order to have an in-depth knowledge of this ancient art of wellness and pass it down to people who can benefit from it just like how she did.

Yoga also inherently compliments Stuti's dance career. If you would like to explore more about the roots, culture, origin of Bharatanatyam & Yoga, you may follow her on social media
