Trying to choose between a few dance schools?
East Toronto families are lucky to have so many options when choosing extracurricular activities. As parents, we understand how difficult it can be to make the right choice. Our primary concern at The School of Dance is the growth of your children, not only in dance but in life. It is an incredible process to watch your child come out of their shell, to see their confidence bloom and the effect that this has on their interaction with the world.
We keep our classes small (maximums of 6-12 depending on age) so that we can give each child a high level of individual attention. We emphasize positive body image and attaining personal bests, leaving no room for gossiping, bullying or negative competition amongst peers. Our instructors have been carefully selected for not only their professional training and industry experience, but also for their temperament, patience and ability to inspire children and adults alike. Every staff member at our studio is truly a great role model to their students.
From The National Ballet School of Canada, the prestigious Ryerson University Dance Program, the Royal Danish Ballet, Petrouchka School of Ballet, and the renowned Deborah Colker Centre of Movement to name only a few, our educators are of the highest caliber. With their help, we design our curriculum to be above and beyond the traditional RAD standard.
