Ballet with Avinoam Silverman

Hello my name is Avinoam Silverman and I’m a ballet teacher and a former soloist with the National Ballet of Canada.  I’m a graduate of the Teacher training program of Canada’s National ballet school and have been teaching ballet for over 10 years.   I will be teaching online classes on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 2:30pm to 3:30pm and Thursday’s at 9:30am. As a lot of us are pretty much home bound at this point in time this will be an opportunity to get the body going, de stress and have fun doing a barre and some center work together in the comfort of our homes  : )

Kitchen Dances

KITCHEN DANCES is Frog in Hand's new online jam session on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7PM to 7:30PM EST). Connect with a Frog in Hand company member who will facilitate a groovy movement session through the Zoom app, as a chance to push back the walls, connect to the body, shake away stress and get some gentle movement training for all levels. You don't have to be a dancer to join us! Participation is through Zoom, a free app, with a suggested $5 donation through GoFundMe. https://www.gofundme.com/f/kitchen-dances

Due to the COVID-19 crisis people around the world are facing unparalleled financial and social challenges. The question is, how do we here in London Ontario rise up to these challenges? How can we, as a community overcome the barriers created through the necessary collective act of social distancing?
