DANZA CORPUS's traiing school The Carret Dance Conservatory ( TCDC) is offering NEW ONLINE

 Ballet and Contemporary Dance Classes for Intermediate/Advanced Students and Professional Dancers  taught by Artistic Directors Mercedes Bernardez and Jose Angel Carret

 Ballet: Mondays and Saturdays 10:00 am 

 Contemporary: Fridays 7:30 pm 

 Fees :

 $8 for Professional Dancers

$10 for Students

CHILDREN ONLINE CLASSES ( 8 -13 years no training needed)

 Introducing NEW  ZOOM ONLINE CHILDREN’s dance classes, taught by  Danza Corpus ’ Artistic Directors, Mercedes Bernardez, and Jose Angel Carret

For children age 8 years up (no previous training required)

Children will discover their creativity, with free movements from the comfort of their own homes.

 When : 

Fridays 5:30-6:15 pm  Contemporary with Jose Angel Carret

Fridays 6:30-7:15 pm - Ballet with Mercedes Bernardez

Starting  Friday, February 5th, 2021

Fee: $7 per class // $13 for both classes// package of 8 classes $45

 NEW VIRTUAL SALSA  CLASSES  FOR BEGINNERS ( 13 years up ) no partner needed 

 JOIN US TO LEARN THE BASICS STEPS AND COMBO OF CUBAN SALSA!

Salsa is a lilting dance, it is also danced individually and mixed with steps from Rumba, Mambo, and  Cha Cha Cha. 

Toronto Dance Theatre - Online Company Class

We have opened all of our online company classes to the greater dance community. These are advanced-level classes (unless otherwise specified) for professional dancers with different facilitators each day. These classes will occur over Zoom and are a chance to discover new practices and train alongside Toronto Dance Theatre's company dancers. With the spirit of sharing in mind, these classes are Pay-What-You-Can, no one refused because of lack of funds. Come to train and connect with us!

Making Love With The Land

MAKING LOVE WITH THE LAND PERFORMANCE is a series of online performances inspired by Joshua Whitehead’s forthcoming book Making Love With the Land in which LGBTQ+ and BIPOC artists explore creation in a post-pandemic world. Whitehead is an Oji-nêhiyaw, Two-Spirit/Indigiqueer member of Peguis First Nation (Treaty 1) and currently lives in Calgary (Treaty 7). This performance of Whitehead’s work features performances by Joshua Whitehead, Barry Bilinsky, Kevin Fraser, Lisa LaTouche, Richard Lee and Zach Running Coyote.
