Music and Dance Around the World

This workshop is designed for students ages 4 to 12.  The interactive content enriches, supports and satisfies portions of the Ontario Music and Dance Currculum for Kindergarten to grade 8.

This fun workshop is presented by Jim Arnold, owner of Folklore Music & Arts.  Students will interact online as they experience music and dance from China, India, Africa, the Middle East, Russia, Europe, South America and the Caribbean.   Ask Jim for references and testimonials.  This workshop has been presented in elementary schools for the past ten years.

KITCHEN DANCES is Frog in Hand's new online jam session on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7PM to 7:30PM EST). Connect with a Frog in Hand company member who will facilitate a groovy movement session through the Zoom app, as a chance to push back the walls, connect to the body, shake away stress and get some gentle movement training for all levels. Sabuccos Dance Company in port credit (Mississauga) is looking to hire a qualified ballet instructor to lead and develop our competitive ballet program for 2020/2021. We are looking specifically for either an RAD certified teacher or Cecchetti certified. The ability to put students through exams successfully is required.

Competitive pay and summer intensive camps positions are also available. Schedule is flexible at this point and we can work around your availability.
