Recreational Dance Teachers Needed!

2022/23 Upcoming Season

We are searching for the perfect fit to commit and grow with our studio located in central Mississauga.

We are hiring enthusiastic, energetic and well organized dance teachers with experience in training recreational level dancers between the ages of 2.5-11 years old, in various styles of dance.

You must be able to adapt to the role needed for each unique class and be able to keep the students engaged, motivated and excited about their classes, while having the ability to go above and beyond of what may normally be your comfort zone.

FROG IN HAND SUMMER JOBS! WE’RE SEEKING A STAGEHAND

This May-July, the 2022 Frog in Hand Summer Company is back, now running in its 5th year. Funded by Canada Summer Jobs, the Summer Company brings together a group of talented artists for 9 weeks of full-time work. This is a chance to train alongside peers and professional artists. This project is driven by the desire to give back to the arts community by supporting new and emerging artistic voices in the GTA. Specifically, we are looking for an Assistant Costume Designer ($25/h) and a stagehand ($15).

Ballet Teacher

The Mississauga Ballet Association (MBA) is looking for a ballet teacher for fall 2022.  Classes are held at the Living Arts Centre on Thursdays evenings between 5:00 and 9:00 pm.  Our season runs from September-May.

MBA is a not-for-profit, recreational ballet school.  We are looking for someone who is professional and reliable to teach children of all ages.  The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching young children and able to teach both ballet, pointe and contemporary dance. More hours may become available in the future. 

Writer’s Circle

SUMMARY Put pen to paper, fingers to keys! Our next 8-week writing class runs 7-9pm (EST) on Wednesdays, from January 5th to  February  23rd, 2022.

About the Class
