At DanceWeekend's 25th Anniversary Edition, Claire Whitaker received this year's Jacque Foesier Youth Dance Award from last year's recipient, Tess Vosper.
She was nominated by Patricia Fraser, Artistic Director of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre.

COBA Youth Ensemble will perform YAAHASS Saturday January 19.
About the work: In Senegal, YaaHass is the name given to fabric created by weaving many different patterns of leftover fabric. The work uses many imagines of Africentric movement idioms to create the fabric of the work of pure movement.
