On Sunday January 19, Dance Ontario celebrated the extraordinary life of Nadia Potts and the legacy she has left embodied by dance students at Ryerson University.
After speeches by Kenny Pearl, Vicki St Denys and Karen Duplisea and a delightfully, witty response from Nadia, guests at the Fleck Dance Theatre watched a retrospective prepared by Dance Collection Danse followed by wonderful performances by Ryerson dancers.Choreographers included Ryerson alumnae Marc Cardarelli, Francesca Chudnoff, Erin Ellis, Ryan Lee, Victoria Mehaffey, and Alysa Pires in addition to works by acclaimed dance creators David Earle and Vicki St. Denys.
A very special thanks to Kenny Pearl for his hard work in organizing the performances for this memorable evening.
