The Dance Scene currently has an opening for a Ballet/Pointe Teacher. We are in search of an innovative and creative instructor with a strong background in teaching competitive students.
The position includes:
- instructing technique classes
- developing choreography for competitive and recreational students
- providing student progress reports

Join lead instructors Madeleine Crist and Sara Okorn for a FREE info session on Sunday July 15th from 1-2pm at 1383 Queen St. East to learn about what it takes to become an instructor at barre3. This session will answer questions like; what is barre3? what is involved in the audition and training process? what do we look for in our employees? and what is it like to be an instructor and work for barre3? We will chat for about 20 minutes and then Sara will lead a 40 minute barre3 class for everyone to participate in! Everyone is welcome!
Toronto Dance Industry is hiring for our fall dance season. We are looking for qualified, enthusiastic individuals with experience (minimum 5 years) in teaching intermediate and advanced level competitive lyrical and jazz disciplines. Ability to teach other dance styles is an asset. Candidates should be comfortable and experienced with instructing dancers ages 8 through 18, and able to provide professional training in a positive, welcoming manner.
The Dance Alliance (TDA) is looking for qualified dance instructors with experience teaching intermediate / advanced ballet (RAD preferred) for the 2018/2019 season. Evening (after normal school hours) and Saturday availability is required.
