Assistant Manager (Part Time or Full Time)

The assistant manager’s responsibilities are to oversee the smooth functionality of the storefront and to assist customers in all aspects of their visit at the store. This can include:

  • Assess customer needs and provide the correct assistance to those needs
  • Control and assist in all aspects of store front operations to maintain high standards
  • Manage and help to correct any customer concerns to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Assist in handling issues that arise from staff and customers with guidance from your store manager
  • Ensure store and employee objectives are always met
  • Assist the store manager in implementing and maintaining all store policies
  • Motivate, supervise and train sales associates to succeed and improve
  • Assist with scheduling sales associates
  • Delegate tasks to sales associates
  • Ensure product availability by maintaining inventories on the floor
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment
  • Input received stock orders into inventory database
  • Coordinate warehouse assistance with sales associates
  • Understand website functionality online order processes
