Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre is looking for an outgoing and experienced Marketing, Development and Arts Education Director. The interested individual should have a firm understanding of sales/advertising, publicity, and marketing through periodicals, newspapers, and social networking; and experience in graphic design, as well as organizing and adhering to production schedules. He/she should be knowledgeable and able to organize fundraising events, track incoming donations, as well as assist with grant research and writing. The candidate should also be knowledgeable with the Dance for Young Audiences (DYA) programming, and have experience in promotions, box office sales, and marketing for DYA productions within the Ontario school boards.

Dance Supervisor - Disney Cruise Line (DCL)

Job Description:
The Dance Supervisor is a salaried leadership position responsible for teaching and maintaining various choreography and blocking within the Disney Cruise Line LIVE entertainment offerings. This role specifically partners with the Resident Director, DCL shoreside teams and various shipboard management, to maintain show integrity as well as the Disney Cruise Line LIVE entertainment standards of quality and safety. The Dance Supervisor would be responsible for instructing any performers or fellow dance supervisors and/or partnering with outside contracted creative vendors - including, but not limited to, the creation of occasional staging and choreography. Administrative tasks include long and short-term scheduling of rehearsals, maintaining a current library of blocking books, documenting choreography and staging, and the creation and duplication of rehearsal / show DVDs.
Required Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree in Musical Theatre or Dance, Dance Certification or equivalent
oExperience in teaching numerous dance styles including, but not limited to: Tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical jazz, pas de deux partnering, ballroom, hip-hop, contemporary, country line dancing, disco
oExcellent communication and leadership skills
oAbility to communicate 'creative language' in a succinct and tactful manner
oExcellent ability to multi-task in a rehearsal setting
oStrong ability to motivate and inspire a cast to set high performance goals and standards
oAbility to quickly and accurately assess actors', singers' and dancers' movement skillset
