Call for Submissions: 2016-17 Creative Partnerships Program

Acro and Musical Theatre instructors needed at growing studio in Alliston Ontario for 2016/2017 season. Preference will be given to applicants with training or certification with a recognized organization such as Acrobatique. Some flexibility with schedule. Would begin with a few hours per week. ONE Movement is expanding!

ONE Movement has been a  performance company for the past 5 years, we are now expanding into a full Dance Centre!

We are located in the core of beautiful downtown Cambridge Galt and want to build Community within our Dance Centre and our local businesses!

We are looking for skilled, fully trained, fun, high energy teachers in  RAD Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Acro for our 2016-2017 dance season.

Teachers will work with both recreational and full time students with the oppourtunity for competitive choreography.

The Woodbridge School of Dance (Vaughan, Ontario), now entering its 34th year, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Jazz, Tap & Acro teacher (experience in Beginner’s Hip Hop and Musical Theatre also an asset) who is eager to work in a dynamic school environment teaching ages 4-17 Wednesday to Saturday. Please see attached document for classes available to teach.

Choreography for year-end performances required.

IGNITE is an one week summer (July 24-29) program for contemporary dance artists.

Live auditions are on Sunday, June 5 at 1:00-4:30pm at 509 Parliament Street, Toronto.

Video auditions are due June 9.

Allegro School of Dance, a lively and established dance studio in Oakville is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Director / Studio Manager. Ideally, applicants should have some general knowledge of the inner workings of a dance studio along with customer service and administrative experience. If you are personable, detail-oriented, organized and thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment, please submit your resume to allegrodanceoakville@yahoo.com.

The Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts has an opening to teach in our SR Ballet program for the 2016-2017 school year. Candidates should have experience teaching pointe, and repertoire and be comfortable working with teens and adults. The position is for Thursday nights,4.5 hours,  September to June. WIth an opportunity for additional hours in the future.

Reflections Dance Studio, a prominent well established dance studio in beautiful Kelowna, BC is seeking positions for both an accredited RAD Ballet instructor as well as Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop & Acro.  Candidates must demonstrate the ability to instruct and develop technical training and instill a love for dance in students of all ages and levels from Recreational to Competitive divisions.  All positions require experience in choreography for competition and year-end show performances.
