Fee: $260 for the week.

DESCRIPTION

The workshop will be led by TBDC alum Laurel Jenkins. During morning warm-up, along with awakening weight and directional intention, we'll play with finding a silky, jointed and highly articulate way of moving by drawing on somatic practices, improvisation and material from a selection of Trisha Brown's repertoire. In the afternoon we will focus on Trisha's seminal Set and Reset (1983), made during her "unstable molecular structure" cycle of works. Here, rigorous rules and chance encounters give space to instinctively delve into Trisha's creative principles.
