FREE Beginner Contemporary Dance Classes

Beginner Contemporary begins by warming up the body through a combination of gentle movements and foundational elements of ballet technique. The second half of the class is focused on learning a short combination. Be prepared to have FUN, laugh a lot and learn something new! Suggested class attire is something breathable that you can comfortably move in, with socks or bare feet for footwear. 

- No previous experience required.
- Washrooms are available for changing.
- Bring your own water bottle.  

FREE Bollywood Dance Classes

A combination of uniqueness, energy, joy, and grace is what defines modern Bollywood dance. This beginner-level class will work through technique and style while building a fun short routine!

  • FREE and open to all ages
  • No previous experience required.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing. 
  • Washrooms are available for changing.
  • Bring your own water bottle.  

Class capacity is 50 participants. 25 spots are being reserved for drop-in participants. Please arrive early to sign-in. Late comers will not be allowed entrance.

Girl's Bollywood Dance 8-Week Program - Annex

Fusion Cardio Toronto’s first program teaching girls Bollywood dance choreography to an entire song over 8-weeks.

The goal of this program is to make exercise fun for girls while helping them build their coordination and group communication skills, enhance their memory and self-confidence and make new friendships.

Bollywood Dance Fitness 8-Week Program - High Park

Bollywood Dance Fitness is a dance workout that combines easy to follow dance movements and exercises and beautiful rhythms spanning from South Asia to the Middle East. No dance experience required.

This is a low to moderate impact class to accommodate women of all fitness levels and ages. Totally welcoming moms and their teenage daughters (ages 13 to 17) to create time for mother and daughter bonding.

Supported by the Toronto Arts Council, the free Bollywood Dance and Fitness Program aims to promote healthy active living for newcomer and refugee women ages 25 to 50 yrs-old living in Flemingdon Park/East York communities.

This class combines easy to follow dance movements, exercises, and South Asia and the Middle Eastern rhythms. No dance experience required. This is a low to moderate impact workout to accommodate women of all fitness levels and ages.

All classes are female-only, kid-friendly (please bring toys for them), and provide snacks.

Free Newcomer and Refugee Women's Belly Dance Program

Supported by the Toronto Arts Council, this free Belly Dance Exercise Program aims to promote healthy active living for newcomer and refugee women ages 25 to 50 yrs-old living in Flemingdon Park/East York communities.

This class combines easy to follow Belly Dance movements and Middle Eastern rhythms. No dance experience required. This is a low impact activity for women of all fitness levels and ages.

All classes are female-only, kid-friendly (please bring toys for them), and provide snacks.

L'École supérieure de ballet du Québec.(Professional Program)Auditions in Kingston, Ontario

The Professional Program is designed for talented young dancers with a high potential for achievement. To be admitted to L’École supérieure, applicants must meet the requirements for age, dance ability and be in good health. There are two steps in the admission process: the audition, followed by the summer intensive. Applicants of all ages and levels may audition.It provides a blend of professional ballet training and an academic program to students from Grade Six to third year junior college.
